Live-Action Movie by Ghost in the Shell
Disney recently announced a film based on Ghost in the Shell. All that is known is that DreamWorks will be producing, Scarlett Johansson will star and the film will be released in April 2017. What is your reaction?Personally, I had about the same reaction.
After Uwe Boll and his shitdevs, it's hard to be surprised. Well, there will be another miserable craft, although I admit that if you don’t tell the viewer what the original source was, they will snarl and not wince under beer. I'm definitely not going to watch it.
I can't even imagine how sad it will be. There is a lot of pseudo-philosophy in the anime as it is. And then there's Disney, it doesn't seem to miss "meat, murder and naked boobs."

To shoot a movie based on one of the anime masterpieces is, of course, they swung coolly. 50/50 that will come out bullshit, or norms. I'm not counting on "supercool".
