Pacific Standard robbery - why a transponder from paint bombs? (Grand Theft Auto 5)

Why steal a truck with a transponder when preparing the Pacific Standard robbery, reprogram it in the next mission, while escaping from the bank, Lester asks if the paint bags exploded (“apparently not, otherwise you would be all covered in paint”), if during of the robbery itself, the money is collected by hands in a bag in BUGS, and not climbed into bags? :-)

there are bundles of money in the form of a doll, such as cashiers of many banks in the world have. When a bank is robbed, criminals or cashiers put this doll in the criminal's bag. If the radio signal from the bank is lost, the pack explodes and stains everything with paint. Go to the savings bank, there are always such dolls at the cashiers. Here is Home credit.
such packs are always in
a conspicuous place protected objects.

Ejection of the difficult to wash off coloring component is carried out using a miniature pyrotechnic charge, driven by an electric or grater trigger mechanism.
Some chemical traps are additionally equipped with smoke and gas (tear) cartridges, which increase the effectiveness of the stopping effect on the intruder.

The Jackal, apparently you hit your head if you call a person a drug addict instead of answering a completely logical question.
Nik210, thank you, I explained it normally.

Nik210, thanks for the detailed answer. Didn't even know packs like that existed.
But there were no such traps in the bank - for each "pack" they threw money in the lower right corner. :) That is, they collected all the money without traps, it turns out. :)
