Independence. (Fallout: New Vegas)

I climbed the wiki, and came across this ending:
Devoted to the ideals of independence, the Courier became famous as the founder of a truly free New Vegas. Thanks to him, the tyranny of Mr. House was overthrown, and the NCR and the Legion parted ways with the hope of gaining control of New Vegas.
Conditions: Good karma, New Vegas independence.
But I still didn’t understand what tasks to complete, and which faction to choose in order to get such an ending?
