Dota 2 Rebirth

Dota 2: Rebirth.

Today, Valve announced the biggest changes on their Dota 2 website.

• Welcome to the new Dota 2. We've rebuilt the old panel from the ground up to make it clearer and easier to use. We are using a new UI that allows us to make the game lighter in weight and also makes a solid foundation for new features now and updates in the future.

• The "Find a game" button is now always available, no matter where you are. Click "Find a game" to select a game mode or lobby and start searching, then return to what you were doing. • Dota is best enjoyed with friends. Several new gadgets have been added to make it easier for you to gather friends for a match.

• Lobby leaders can now show their lobbies, allowing absolutely everyone in the world to connect to it. Players can search for a lobby by its name or by game mode,

The friends menu now makes it easier for you to find those who are available or looking for a group, and also allows you to invite them with a single click.

• You can now use voice chat in the menu, which will allow you to talk even while downloading.

• Is there someone in the friend's group now? Now you can merge two groups into one or send a request to invite another group instead of someone. You can also reassign a group leader at any time.

• You can now put yourself or your group in an open status, showing all your friends that you are looking for more people to play.

• Explore your friends' play style, track their progress and comment on their progress.

• Hover over a player's avatar and you'll see a customized mini-profile where players can show their favorite hero's stats, valuable items, or trophies. The profile also includes a badge that summarizes their experience and accomplishments into a single badge.

• The News Feed lets you quickly view and comment on your friends' accomplishments, allowing you to celebrate a Black Hole victory and then quickly jump to a replay.

• Dig deeper into your friend's stats with Hero Rankings. It is based on the usefulness of the hero in relation to the overall rating of the player.

• Your Dota play style is now represented by five different axes that you can compare with your friends.

• A new chat interface has been made to make it easier for players to form groups and to help them get to know other players.

• Use the new Whisper feature to quickly connect with any friend. You will see the answer in a new panel, even if your friend is not in Dota.

• Now you can set up chats so that they are displayed in one window. The group chat and Whisper will also be displayed in the same window.

• The maximum that could enter a chat room has been increased to 5000. • Now it's easier to search and sort heroes using filters. Make a support or carry filter and you will be shown who is good in this role. Then you can choose more specific roles: nuker, jungler, etc. You can also make the filters more strict to see the best heroes in these roles.

• Heroes are the heart of Dota. We've updated the Hero Browser to provide a one-stop place for you to learn about, practice with, and customize heroes.

• The Heroes page now allows you to quickly view and try on all available items for a given hero. If you find an item you like, then use the buy button to buy the item from the Dota 2 Store or marketplace. You can also view information that will help you answer the question: "Is this your hero?". You can also find guides from players.

• Also on the heroes page there is a "Demo Hero" button, which will take you to the map where you can use the abilities of the heroes and practice last hitting the creeps. In this mode, you can try on absolutely any thing on the hero.

• Watching Dota 2 is as important as the game itself. The streaming section has been redesigned to make it easier to find the matches you want to watch and then enjoy the game with the updated DotaTV.

• We have combined the best of DotaTV and streaming. DotaTV, powered by Steam Broadcasting, now provides detailed statistics and graphs for you while still providing you with video of the game itself. Streams will be available in FullHD quality at 60fps. You can find all the statistics of the game both in Dota 2 and on the Internet. If you suddenly need to move away or you missed something, then you can stop the video or return at any time. You can also find unofficial tournament streams in Dota 2 itself.

• The broadcast section is now presented to you with a mix of tournament games, high-level player matches, and your friends' games. The new match preview will give you a lot of information to help you decide which game to watch.

• Heard about the big tournament in the final stage? In the Featured section, you can view all the necessary information about this tournament.

• During a live broadcast, you can click on the "Watch Later" button to mark a specific moment and watch it later on the replay. The replay section will show you matches played by your friends as well as popular matches rated by the community.

• You can add descriptions to your favorite replays and share them with your friends. Each replay has its own comment section, making it easier to discuss the match.

• Many of you have told us that the current tutorial system does a good job of explaining the Dota mechanic, but it is not good at helping new players understand that Dota is an amazing game. So we've made a new tutorial match system that will allow new players to take a big leap in their understanding of Dota.

• If you have a friend that you want to invite to Dota 2, but you are a bad teacher, then we will help you. Our tutorials will be fun and educational for any novice player due to the careful balance of information that won't get boring. All this allows beginners to feel this game.

• If you have friends who have never played MOBA games and found training matches difficult for them, then there is a mechanics tutorial for them. Here they can focus on Dota basics.
