Can't select character (Terraria)

I have seen this. It means that the character file is corrupted or it has things that are not in the version of the terraria (or mod) in which you are trying to play for it.
You will have to delete it, or if in the second case, then install the version of the terraria on which you played or install the mod with which you played this character.
