Gangs of Novigrad (The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt)

Because I went, or blind, did not notice this quest and found the Bastard in solo, but at the same time this quest failed. I donâ€™t really want to play with a failed quest, maybe someone knows how to roll back the save?
