Health or stamina? (Valheim)

I think so.
Stamina grants firepower. The more stamina, the more cheating the character becomes. With stamina, you can mow down enemies in droves and avoid damage.
Health gives the right to make mistakes. That is, you can deliberately let all sorts of clots and leeches poison yourself, or specially approach the troll and let him hit you. Theoretically, you can eat three meats from the start of the game and go fight goblins and mosquitoes, and having 100+ hp you can easily survive their blow.

A character can't do anything without stamina. He cannot even close himself with a shield, because. hitting the shield consumes stamina, and when it runs out, the shield will be of no use, it will be pierced with every hit. The character will not be able to hit back either. Before the updates, it was not uncommon for a situation when you were standing face to face in front of a monster, he was beating you, and you were standing and waiting, saving up stamina to hit. Awesome sight, you have a sword in your hand and you can't hit anyone. And the realef of the terrain is such that without acceleration the character simply slides and cannot pass in many places. They can easily press against some kind of log or mound, and beat. The character will not be able to either jump over a log or run onto a mound without stamina, and he will also not be able to defend himself with a shield or attack with a sword.
Therefore, a character without stamina but with health is just a fat and helpless pear to beat. but in this case, what difference does it make how much health you have, if you can only stand and watch how your health is being demolished? It will end anyway, they will kick you 5-10 times and you will die.
But why let your enemies beat you? You can run, jump. block, kill, and don't let yourself be beaten. And if the enemy cannot hit you because you are fast, agile and deadly, then why do you need this health at all? In this case, neither armor nor health is needed at all, you can run naked across the plains and just bring down goblins and bull-lizards in packs. But in this case, you can die just by jumping unsuccessfully.
Well, that is, you can drive through the swamp on stamina and exterminate everyone there. But if some kind of archer shoots at you or a coagulation / leech is poisoned, then this is immediately death. And death in this game is unacceptable, IMHO. after death, all skills are lost by 5%.

That is, it turns out that if a person does not know how to play, then he will often miss blows. And when playing through stamina, any missed hit for him is almost always death. But if he plays through health, then he will be simply helpless and useless. Those. he won’t be able to properly swing a sword or shoot a bow without stamina, and he won’t be able to run away if something happens, and a shield won’t help him much when the stamina runs out. Therefore, everyone will beat him up and eventually kill him anyway. OK, not a one shot. and not in two strokes. But they will hit 3-4-5 and health will eventually end.

So, apparently, this game is only for those who know how to lure perfectly and are able to hear the breath of a slug behind their back or the gurgling of a leech in the water. In this case, you can play through the stamina, and no enemy will ever be able to hit the player. And if the player is essentially invulnerable, then he doesn’t need armor in general. He can eat all 3 stamina foods and run in light leather armor for the whole game.
