If not available through "think aloud", play dice/cards in the tavern. If there are no players in the tavern, saving before entering it is useful, because each entrance to the tavern randomly generates players and other visitors. This will help if the tavern was not visited that day. And don't empty your opponent's wallet yet, just play for time.
