Farm items (Dark Souls 2)
What happens to item farming? I flunked the old king today and went to the second addition. Persian is weak, not in level. Well, at least I’ll wander around, I’ll farm the equipment. So nothing, barely barely knocked out! And dressed - a ring with a golden snake +1, takes a merchant and a prisoner's rags. Before that, he tried to knock out the bell ringer's bow. So the coins didn't help to this set. Killed to zero, the reward is an ugly skull))). Maybe the farm was cut off in the tihar? Most likely just a loser, like me. I couldn’t knock out the pants from the witches from the second dopka, but there are few of them + they stopped respawning - tobish the same topic

Most likely - banal bad luck.
And if in the case, I read somewhere, some noticed that if you play offline, then the chance to get a thing is much less than online. Although for me it is not so, I did not notice the difference.
For better item loot, it would be nice to have a golden serpent ring +2 (gives +100% chance to find an item), and not +1 (this one gives only +75% chance to find things). The ring itself is obtained for defeating the gargoyles in the Moonbell Tower on NG+ (you need to light a fire in the Moonbell Tower if you want to not get the ring on the first playthrough).
Hmm ... to understand the scheme))). I changed the locations on purpose - not immediately from the fire and to the prey, but ran to Majula and only then to the farm. In the first Dark, this helped a lot. Moreover, on the first day of the release of the add-on, items simply poured in. Of the "helpers" was only takes the merchant.
Cut, most likely. The red phantom on the tower of the sun ("predator") only dropped 2 items for 50 kills. Ring +1, takes merchant and coin. I spent all the coins on the reptile.
siame The
drop chance of an item from Mad War in the "Tower of the Sun" has always been incredibly small. For example, for a berserk katana, the chance is 0.34% (data taken from the wiki), and with a golden serpent ring on, +1 and a hollow set. For other things, the chance is about the same. It reassures that if a thing falls out of him, then it will no longer fall, so it's a little easier to collect a complete set of his things.
It’s not clear why, in general, such a small percentage of falling out? It would be nice if the items would be imbue. Ringer Bow? Yes, a great bow, but a hunter's bow is better. Mask of the Mad Warrior? Beautiful, perhaps. I don't see the point in "burrowing" like that.

Items are often not worth spending a huge amount of time on, but for some reason, sometimes there is a desire to have all the items in the game or a specific set of items (naturally in a fair way), and then the race for the ghostly item begins. For example, I cleared out about 98% of the enemies in the game - the only ones left alive were in the "Dump", and the endless statues of warriors in the "Drankling Castle", and all the damned greed.
I also noticed one chip about this crazy warrior. It's boring to run back and forth, let me, I think, sit down by the fire several times in a row. How much to sit? I remember that the Japanese consider the number four to be worse than 13 in Europe... It's not for nothing that there are 4 great Souls here.
You will not believe. Several times this is exactly what happened, and if not immediately spawned, then after the next subsequent "squats".

Here on the wiki they write that it was experimentally calculated that the chance of the appearance of the Mad War is about 16.87%.

I have already written in detail the action of the ring somewhere, but it is not harmful to repeat it.
Consider an example: we have a 5% chance of getting an item. We put on a ring with a golden snake +2 (+ 100%), we get a chance of dropping a thing equal to 10%. A similar increase for other items (merchant's hat, hollow clothes), the effects stack with each other.
But the coin (in my opinion) works differently - it increases the base chance of dropping an item by 1%, i.e. instead of 5%, we will have a 6% chance of getting an item.
If we add the effect of the coin and the golden ring +2, we get the following (5% + 1%) * 2 = 12%. That is, the greater the bonus to the chance of items falling out, the greater the effect of the coin in the end.

And in my opinion, the calculation is not in percentage, but in points. And +100 points from the ring can be either + 100% or + 10% and + 1%.
Ogyr4ig
Maybe in points, but on the wiki they say that it is percentages. And the points are somehow not practical, how to manipulate them? The chance of dropping things in points, how much will it add? Too confusing. Good old math without any frills, much more practical in my opinion.

Too confusing.
Does this surprise you?) This is the Japanese, they always have everything incomprehensible :)
................................... but what kind of cars they have ......... ............ (from what is not the topic)))
Max-sti
Yeah, the Japanese))). One gets the impression that the game was made not only by them, but also by the gentlemen "guest workers". There are too many jambs in the game, such as texture mismatch - the visible part and the real one. There was somehow a transmission through the "box", as modern games do. In order to cope with large volumes and reduce the cost of the project, they hire specialists from outside - China, Korea, all sorts of Thailand. There is a reduction in price, there is no corresponding control.
PS all the same, the first Dark was better. Less, with the online part of the problem, but the game was over. The second one is raw. IMHO of course.

can't help but agree.
The first Dark was from the "Dark Fantasy" series, something like that, I still don't understand the second.
Somehow everything is far-fetched, but the network component is an order of magnitude better. The only thing is the better.
