MK9 local server (Mortal Kombat (2011))

As far as we know, all servers in mk9 were disabled and it turns out that the only way to play with other people is through Parsec.
There is a NFSU2 game, its servers were also turned off even like later on MK9, but to this day you can play it over the network using pLAN Revive
. And then the question arises whether it is possible to take and make the same LAN server but for MK or only Parsec?
