Launcher Paradox v2 (Stellaris) won't install

Bought the game the other day. I have never played a Paradox game before. Accordingly, I didn’t have a launcher on my computer either. After starting the game, I am prompted to install the Paradox v2 launcher. I gladly agree, however, during the installation, the strip does not move at all, and after that it gives a message that the launcher has not been installed. None of the tips on the internet helped me. I already even tried to download the launcher from the official site - the same result. Please help, I really want to play the game!
