New or old? (Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 (2022))

Good day!

Please explain to the ignorant - this part and the part before this one are stupid remasters of those parts that were before (the same heroes, blablabla) or is it something new in terms of plot, but with the same heroes?

From the old parts, only the name and characters. the plot is new. Games are made on a new engine. This is not a remaster
