Solution to the topic GTX1650 4Gb gets very hot
Thank you all so much for participating in this thread! After a long dance with tambourines with a very hot GTX1650 4Gb, I decided to sell it, which I did 10 days ago. Today I purchased an AMD Sapphire Radeon RX 6500 XT Pulse 4 GB card (11314-01-20G) through Ozon In a box, with seals, pieces of paper, all in lenok. Gorgeous. I connected PCI 3.0x16+ 6pin from the power supply, the turntables spin silently, the screen resolution is the same as without a card. I installed the driver from the site. Coolers stopped, resolution 1920x1080-50Hz. Launched GPU-Z-everything corresponds to the declared characteristics. Run Furmark for 25 min. T-33-66*S, at 38-41% cooler volume, FPS~160fps. Frequency ~ 2630-2640 MHz. Mem 2234MHz.1.08V. 90W. The first impression is frigid (cold like an iceberg), practically noisy! In general, my dream for June 2022. for 20k.BUT after the GTX 1650 D6 OC 4G card, the new product is more slow (often freezes in the same games)
System: Windows 10 for one language, update 21H2
Mother MSI H110M Pro-VD Plus (MS-7A15) (2 PCI-E x1, 1 PCI-E x16, 2 DDR4 DIMM, Audio, Video, Gigabit LAN) PCI 3.0x16
Stone DualCore Intel Core i3-7100, 3900 MHz (39 x 100)
RAM 16 (DDR4 2400 2x8 Gb)
Samsung SSD 860 EVO 500GB 500.1 GB (operating system)
HDD ST500DM002-1BD142 500.1 GB disk drive
I understand that it is not possible to connect via PCI-e 4.0 as indicated in the Saphire rx 6500 xt specification.
What now, Another mother with a stone to take? Or demolish all old nVIDEA drivers? Or return (under warranty) the card?
So now there is no money for a full upgrade, this card has excellent characteristics, I have ray tracing, etc. not needed, just want to play slowly. Maybe in the settings of the card (not games) reduce the frequency or something else? I don't know the pass PCI 3.0x16, the card is in PCI 4.0x4, it should go on the mat bus. fees, probably. I'm at a dead end...
Demolished clean "green" drivers, it became noticeably livelier. I tried Cyberpunk 2077 for 15 minutes (I downloaded it specifically for the test, I didn’t try it before), the default settings were not ultra, but high. The drawdown is not noticeable. I'll see how it goes in other games. The main thing is that it is not audible at all, and it does not heat up.
