Why doesn't the ocean farm work? (Terraria)

the farm does not function correctly, namely, the fish do not aggro me from all over the ocean, it just swims like I don’t exist at all, the screenshot shows that I am 2/3 submerged in water and there are 3 holes, to the right, to the left and under me. This is not the first time I've encountered this problem.
(terraria bought from the play market) The only time
a fish can aggro me is if it swims exactly under me, not a block to the right or to the left, in the PC version and in the old mobile versions everything worked fine, all the fish in the ocean aggroed me.
How to deal with it? Or maybe there are alternative options for farms?
