240 fps feels like 60 fps or even lower (MADiSON)

Actually a subject. On a 240 Hz monitor and a powerful vidyuhi, you can’t get high. Can it be cured somehow? The fps counter shows 240, but you can't deceive your eyes

either climb into the monitor settings there to understand the response, or watch so that the processor does not slow down and does not cause microfreezes. either the game is so peck-peck

Just maybe the game itself does not support 240 Hz? i.e. over 60!

has a 5900x processor and is minimally loaded, so it's unlikely that this is the case. In the monitor settings, I do not even know what to change. The game seems to be the same. But I thought maybe there is some general way to fix such a glitch for the Unity engine.

Maybe. Although this is very strange for 2022. The strange thing is that the FPS counter from Afterburner shows quite 240 fps, but in reality there are not even close fps there

Fps can even show 1000, but the game itself will simply be perceived at a maximum of 60fps!

It may also be that the game automatically turned on the 60 Hz mode instead of 240! look in the game settings where the video parameters are, or in the game config file!

So that it shows high fps, and at the same time low fps is felt, this is the first time I see this in games. In the game settings, there is nothing at all about fepes or screen frequency. And the config files of the game that I found in binary format

Steam is also complaining about this problem. In this thread - https://steamcommunity.com/app/1670870/discussions/0/3412056228814829812/?ctp=2

The recommendation to set the screen frequency to 50 or 100 Hz did not help me

Sometimes it happens that developers "tie" animations in the game to some screen refresh rate (for example, 60 fps), maybe something like this happening?
