How to switch to offline mode? (Borderlands 2)

And so I decided to download borderlands 2 and Borderlands The Pre-Sequel again, the error in them is the same endless creation of a session

, and that's it, and

that's my question: is it possible to go offline by turning off the Internet, skip creating a session and put the offline mode and thereby skip the endless creation of the session?

or is that not how it works?

version if anything steam

Hello. Have you tried running Steam in offline mode? And so on to start the game.

You can also try to limit the game's access to the Internet through the Windows firewall.

Try it, the method that I suggested to you essentially does the same thing, only you do not need to turn off the Internet.

, my Windows firewall is generally disabled

when they came to me to set up the Internet, they told me that it is undesirable to turn it on, otherwise the signal will disappear again,

it’s easier for me to turn off the router

How are the "signal" and the small-scale firewall connected? - if you don’t know how to set it up, install a third-party one that will notify you when something gets into the network and ask what to do about it. I myself have this (Windows is naturally disabled as unnecessary), the same provider (neighboring area) - if a program / game tries to go online, I skip (only outgoing, or all connections) or block (if necessary). You can simply turn off the network in Windows itself and for this it is not necessary to turn off the router.

And if you create a shortcut from the connection, drop it, for example, into links ...
C: Users USER_NAME Links
... by creating a folder there, for example "Network", then you can create a link from this folder on the taskbar, so that the Internet will turn on 1st and turn off 2 clicks of the mouse button.

SonyK_2 tried
to disable the method as in the screenshots because of this, the Internet flies, and if you just turn off the router, then everything is fine after turning it on

Maybe the Internet does not "fly", but a new connection is created? - sometimes it happened to me myself. I went to the network and sharing center, renamed the new connection, for example, "LAN 2" and did the same with its label.

Weird! Borderlands 2 and Borderlands The Pre-Sequel (repacks) are offline by default, without an Internet connection. Maybe new versions were made under Win.10 with an Internet connection.
