How not to twist the sword when attacking? (Dark Souls 2)

The character cannot beat the enemy normally, constantly twists his sword, because of which he dies. One gets the feeling that he is doing this on purpose in order to once again create difficulties in the game and merge on purpose. Impossible to attack because of this stupid mechanic. Can I disable it somehow?
