Just started playing. I don't really understand how people mine stone.I select the area where wood and stone are taken into account. People collect only wood. There is nowhere to put the logs, but they still continue to cut trees. I click on the stone, I press "collect resources". Complete disregard on the part of the inhabitants ... How to transfer the inhabitants to collect stones?
I even put carts next to the stones ... Some kind of nonsense ...

On the keyboard, press the "H" key (in Russian, the "P" key) and check the box for the resource you need.

It is necessary to build structures for workers. Select the desired area through the button in the building. And only after that, specially dedicated workers will begin to clear the selected area from stones and wood. If you simply select an area for collecting resources, unoccupied residents will collect only when they themselves want to (which, in general, is completely random).
