+ Skills on measurements

Hello. Do options like +to all skills or +to class skills work on mercenaries from items? For example, will the aura of the mercenary from the second act be improved from "+2 to defensive auras (paladins only)" or Jab and auras will be improved from "+1 to all skills"?
