The problem with starting a company on a pirate

On the pirated version, when you start the company, the download starts and after a minute of downloading the game just crashes without any error. But when I launched the game through the Steam version, everything works. Can anyone tell what is the problem? (I tried to download pirates from xatab, fitgirl, catalyst; there is no difference, it always crashes)
