The game will have a new world, characters and storyline. The events of the sequel have little to do with the first game. As the story progresses, players will unlock new areas of Los Angeles with unique zombie types, weapons, and abilities. In the center of the plot will be the already infected protagonists who confront the zombies and try to survive. Dead Island 2 offers six playable characters at once, which differ in skills. Thanks to infection, it will be possible to use powerful abilities.
