How to increase FPS?

Max FPS setting needed
Other than Vsync, is there a way to set max FPS?

My graphics card is 300fps in the menu, I can drop it to 144fps with VSync since my monitor is 144hz. But it's still too much, too much, it's just not necessary. Consumes more energy than needed and generates heat.

Can this be fixed or does it need to be done on the developers side?
