Drivers brake for absolutely no reason

Why do my drivers always brake when overtaking in the middle of the track with attack mode on tires + push mode on engine + overtake on ers + drs, while the defending driver does not have drs? (This has happened to some IA drivers as well, I just can't confirm their settings)
