Gothic 3 - Content Mod v2.5This modification expands Gothic 3 in certain areas.
Basically, new items have been added and minor balance changes have been made.
The purpose of the mod is to further develop the immersion in the game and bring it closer to the wonderful ancestor.
General
- Content Mod is a mod for Gothic 3.
- Content Mod will not work without Community Patch 1.75 and QuestPaket 4.2 Updated (http://www.worldofgothic.de/download.php?id=1287) installed.
- There is no guarantee that this modification does not contain errors.

Compatibility
Content Mod...
... is only compatible with the Gothic 3 base game.
... is not compatible with the Gothic 3 "Forsaken Gods" add-on.
...compatible with Community Patch 1.75.
...doesn't work without QuestPaket 4.2.
... is set to the alternative balance introduced in Community Patch 1.70.
...only compatible with texture mods.
Installation
Installation takes place using the installer. You must agree to the license agreement.
The installer usually chooses his own path. The installation path should be "Gothic 3". It also checks if QP 4.2 is installed.
You need to start a new game if...
... Content Mod installed for the first time.
... an older version of the mod was installed, otherwise there may be problems.
... Content Mod has been removed.
Individual mods of this modification can be installed (for example, if we want to install only textures, Content Mod, or sounds).
You also need to make sure that there is free space on your hard drive. The mod takes up 1300 MB.
If you want to install other mods that are included with CM, then you need to remove the installed ones and re-select the ones that you need.
Installing Content Mod 2.5 WITHOUT quests from QP 4.2.
I added this option due to numerous requests on the forum.
I even asked permission from Humanforce to be able to change QP 4.2 in this regard.
Mod "Consequences" is incompatible with this installation!
The same can be said about all additional components.
The QP state will be completely restored after removing CM 2.5.
Now you can play Content Mod without additional quests.
Also, all items from QP are included in the mod.
However, there is no guarantee that errors will not occur, so the CM must have a full QP.
Uninstall
You can uninstall the mod by clicking on "Uninstall_CM_2.5.exe". This file is located in the folder with the Gothic 3 game.
If you installed CM 2.5 for the first time without QP quests, and now you want to play with QP 4.2, then you need to delete the mod and reinstall it, choosing what you need.
The QP state will be completely restored after removing CM 2.5.
After removing the Content Mod, you will have to start a new game, otherwise serious problems may arise later.
License
The developers of the Content Mod grant each player the right to unrestricted use and distribution of this modification.
The modification does not use copyrighted materials that have been integrated without notice to the owner.
Also integrated textures were received from users or Free2Use sources.
