Rangers bullet energy table

As already proven, weapon levels don't mean anything for hunt rating, it's just a hint for players who don't understand energy. Bullet energy is what counts, it must fall within the recommended range on impact. You can find this information in the encyclopedia:

Badger and fox: 612 - 1836
White-tailed deer: 1543 - 3705
Mule deer: 1570 - 3763
Elk: 2912 - 4951

Now, on maximum difficulty, there is no way to test the energy of a bullet other than to buy a gun and kill the animal from the desired distance. Since the developers are unlikely to solve this problem in the near future, I decided to turn on the hunting nonsense and measure the energy level myself. Please note that this is not very accurate and is highly dependent on the wind. Therefore, results may vary.
