Weapon Wear

My weapon breaks and I don't have the materials to make another one. So I just sit there until I die. Now I'm trying to go back without a weapon, I have to go through the whole abyss to go back and buy a new weapon. I've already died about 6 times from these stupid crickets that push me away because I can't defend myself.
