Don't worry about that. No one will persecute you vzashey - almost everything is tied to the transitions between acts. Although there seem to be a couple of exceptions. Firstly, in the first act, in four days there will be an attack on the tavern, where the headquarters of the last defenders of the city was deployed and a number of NPCs will die if they are not rescued before this moment. Secondly, getting some quests on the timer is still tied up, and if, for example, in the third act you get too carried away with the plot, then you can miss out on the quests of some party members.
