In DRAGON QUEST XI S in the Items tab items from Equipment

In DRAGON QUEST XI S, during the battle, in the Items tab, there are things from the Equipment tab, but the items themselves are not available for use. They are only available outside of combat. Maybe someone solved this problem? The Russified version of the game is used
