Completely lazy. Get the steamworkshopdownloader , download the SteamCMD from the wiki, and follow the instructions to download any files from the workshop. Works great:

install the tampermonkey browser extension then https://greasyfork.org/en/scripts/393739-steam-downloader this script and you will have a button like in the screenshot, you don’t even need to go to your steam account)
