There is an Appearance Menu Mod. With it, you can replace any character model with any other.
I just don’t advise changing the female character to a male one (on the contrary, it’s possible too, I didn’t check it). The skeleton remains from the original character, which makes the model look crooked. Although, maybe they fixed it in new versions, I played for a long time.
