Game with patch 1.04 and 1.01 (The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt)
I recently bought a card from Amd: I was more than satisfied after the same green 670. Iplayed on green on early patches, and bought red on patch 1.04.
Here's a question:
Amdshniki complained that after the patch above 1.01, the game greatly reduced fps by 8-10. Is this true or not, maybe someone has already checked from their own observations?

I looked at a lot of tests about 290x. Somewhere it is ahead of the 780 ti, somewhere it is on par with it. It is on par in almost all tests with 970. 970 is slightly ahead (0.5-1fps)
The difference between 980 and 290x is 9-11 fps, if you meet 980 at a price of 30,000, and Asus 290x took for 17 thousand.

670 went to the maximum at 17-20 fps, at high 40 and sagged hard to 27, removed the medium ones :) Accumulated on amd.
AMD is a good company :-P Simply - to each his own. Someone likes the card to work at its full potential, and someone likes the power of the cards to be limited by drivers.

well, I looked at prices of 770-780 and 290x, then where I live they are almost equal)) up to 980 she is far away, depending on what game, here in the Witcher 3 she is in 5th or 6th place and in GTA5 too - also 980 pulls on 80- 120 fps and 290x 60-80 well, that’s enough for the game, I just don’t see the point in overpaying. Personally, I have enough and 760gth I play at high with ultra and it’s normal, I played 660 at high and it was enough (the main thing is not lower than 35-40 did not drop fps) the rest I think is nonsense, because glitches start less than 30 fps, and 30 + play and norms)
