NEED FOR SPEED: SHIFT 3 PROJECT CARS
from the creators of shift and shift two
CARS is a new project from Slightly Mad Studios, the creators of Need For Speed: Shift, Need for Speed: Shift 2 Unleashed, GTR, GTL, GTR2 and BMW M3 challenge. Few people know that Slightly Mad Studios was founded in 2009 by the founder of Blimey! Games (which in turn was created by one of the well-known modders for the F1 Challenge 99-02 game - Ralf Humerich (RH)) and SimBin Studios Ian Bell (who created mods for the F1 2002 game).
The main feature of the game is that every gamer can take part in the development of the game. Assistance consists in the opportunity to become an investor of the game or for a certain amount (in the amount of 5 euros to 1000) to get access to the test version of the game. And you will have the right to vote, express your opinion or wish for further development. When buying GOLD-accounts (1000 euros), you will be able to meet with the developers and get the source code of the game, while other investors will have it "slightly" stripped down.
The game is based on a redesigned Shift 2 Unleahsed engine, which will add new modules as development progresses, such as DirectX 11 support, a new AI and physics engine. The developers hope to release the final game within one year, and with fully licensed content. By the way, the content will also be paid, like the iRacing game.
The peculiarity of this project is that it is sponsored by the players themselves, who will receive compensation after the release of their games or mods. The first game of their project will be the game - CARS, which is a free car simulator. The game will have a cooperative mode, single player, multiplayer, and you can also become the manager of your own team. The game will feature the most popular racing series such as Rally, Le Mans, DTM, Formula 1, Radicals and more.
The game will be released at the end of 2012. The first screenshots and videos from the future simulator are already available. On which you can see the winner of the 24 Hours of Le Mans race, the Audi R18 TDI prototype, the Audi A4 from the German DTM touring car series, three different historical Lotus Formula 1 cars, two Radicals and a formula car. But for sure there will be a GP2 series, a Renault world series, WTCC, Formula 2, GT1 and this list can be continued indefinitely.
Leonus? Racer V8? What's this? You ask. The answer is simple, the machines are under licensing and are therefore available under fictitious names. Just a matter of time.
By the way, beta testing of the game is already underway, which began on October 11. If you want to take part, then you need to:
1. Register in the CARS team on the WMD (World of Mass Development) forum
2. Buy a "tool" pack
3. Download the latest build of the game, entering the password that you will receive on the forum

A career in the game is not complete or what?
The game will have a full career. Or what do you mean?
Already in May? Nifiga they give, I thought that I would play this GTA5 in advance, it turned out the other way around ... mdaa
What, no one is waiting for this game? There are no discussions. Is it just another nonsense?
Brando9
Those who are in the subject have discussed everything for a long time. And for those who do not yet have the game, there is nothing to discuss yet. Wait another 7 days and the forum will probably come to life more or less.

Just, as it were, there is a demo, but there are no discussions. That's the strange thing :)
According to the demo, in principle, it's clear
Brando9
There was no demo, there was only a crooked unfinished build of the game. There is little to say about him.
tachos
Oh, there it is, heh) Well, if this build was not bad, then the game should be of high quality

And what are you going to tune in sports cars? A new NFS will be released soon, you will be sculpting all sorts of ugly rear wings and vinyls there, be patient a bit, and then the world of motorsport without this childish crap.
