Gamepad game. (LEGO Marvel Super Heroes)

The question is: is it possible to play the game on a gamepad without activating the second player? If so, how. I play on ps 4 controller. Thank you in advance

Try it first on the keyboard, connect the gamepad, go to the menu with the gamepad and exclude 1 player. Voila, you're playing with a gempad!
