Integrated graphics card, laptop, RAM
Hi everybody.I have an intel i5 laptop (integrated intel hd4000 video card) + adm hd8850m.
Maybe I don’t understand something, but, in theory, when you run a game on a high-performance graphics chip (AMD), the game should eat RAM resources from it. But at one point, when I opened the gpu-z program, in the "dynamic memory used" field (allocated memory from the RAM for the video card), for the intel video card, I saw a value approximately equal to 1500MB, in games gta5, arma3. This naturally eats RAM. So out of 8GB, 2-4GB remains: 1-3 GB for the game + 2 GB for the vidyuhi + 1 GB for the OS.
So the question is, I have one so, if not, what is it? driver error?
Ps so what kind of memory does the game use for video, from RAM or from AMD?

This is a problem for almost all laptops.
The trouble is that an Intel card will work anyway, whether you like it or not. It works on the desktop by default. That is, during idle time (not playing), only one Intel card is active. And during the game, AMD turns on. And it is impossible to make the AMD card (with its own separate memory) always work.
Because the RAM goes to the intellokartochku, and you can not turn it off.

Well, I understand that, but why then intel eats all 2 gigabytes when the game starts, although they should be borrowed from amd, and 50 MB is enough for the desktop
