Can the game lag due to a weak power supply? (The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt)
here is the whole system: gtx 770 amd fx 6300 4 ghz 8 gb ram hhd 2 tb at 12 v gives 300wIf the power supply was enough for all the equipment, then it is unlikely.
If not enough, then something would not work or the computer would not turn on at all
I don’t know about lagging because of this, but the fact that you have it weak for such a configuration is unambiguous
Read here http://video-nvidia.com/series_700/nvidia-geforce-gtx-770.html
Minimum system power requirements: 600 W for GTX-770

but I read that if there is not enough power, then for example the video card may simply not work at all
and one more question, will the game work better if you buy an ssd and put it on it? Or is there no difference other than fast loading?
for 770, an honest 500v is enough.
if the power supply fails, then this is fraught with something worse than FPS in the Witcher.
ssd will only affect the download speed (for the sake of 15 seconds, buying an ssd is a dubious enterprise). The game is demanding on the video card.
lookaway fps
is normal but there are friezes when I use igni or when I go to novigrad, etc. maybe because of bp or not?

Lower the settings and see if there will be firms or not, maybe it's just loading in a certain place.

saw a similar problem somewhere here on the forum on exactly the same processor.
either you wrote before, or someone has a similar config.
you can measure the load on the cpu using afterburner for prevention
lookaway
checked, the game loads 2 cores under 90%, the remaining 4 cores are 30-40% normal or not?
dimaboss1
still suspect a little percentage (98% is not enough)
and the load is somehow too uneven. I have all 4 cores about the same loads (50-60%).
try googling. maybe the game has problems with 6-core processors.
lookaway watched on YouTube for everyone with such a process, it loads the same way, but it works fine, by the way, I have a lot of games freezes, for example, the same batmanfps is about 60-70 but constantly friezes
lookaway
and in general the block sometimes cracks under load, so you need to change
I don’t know anything
myself, but it’s been working for half a year, in a couple of days I’ll buy at least 650w
dimaboss1
the load on the CPU is somehow strange, and besides, 770 and 6300 are not a very good combination
