How to climb the well? (The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt)

In one of the missions, they donâ€™t let me into the castle, the peasant told me that the river and the well in the castle are connected. I found this cave, but for 4 hours I canâ€™t climb up the well, it just doesnâ€™t catch on the beams.
