The same trouble. Tried three repacks, same thing. i5 8600k 4.5 all cores, 16g ram, 2080s. And what does a rabid dog need))?

Disable vertical sync in video card settings and it will work.

It helped, vertical sync and vertical sync turned off.

It's just better not to turn it off, otherwise [for me personally] the screen cuts hard ... but put "Use 3d application settings" ...

found a solution to fix the black screen when starting the game,
we need to edit the file ENGINESETTINGS
C:Users/Name/AppData/Raoming/A Plague Tale: Requiem
You can just drive in ENGINESETTINGS in the search on the computer

Open it with notepad and change the data parameter to 0

VSync 0
HDR10 0
Raytracing 0
PreferD3D12 0
