Why can't you change V's appearance? (Cyberpunk 2077)

I change the parameters, click "Apply" and stupidly everything stops here. Then it just won't load. But at the same time, the game didn’t seem to freeze, because I can move the mouse, hover over the parameters and they will be highlighted, but I can’t click anywhere.
