Try this.
Spoilerage start, run, enter the string in the regedit window will open your registry, press the F3 button and in the search enter hl2.exe click search, delete the files that you find with the name hl2.exe that is, click on search this name a few times until you will not find all the files with that name after you delete them, the game is all setup up by default and you can change the extension to something that you need.
