if memory of identical type - it is possible. It will most likely work fine.

Yes, we definitely took 2.5GB (256 * 2 + gig * 2) for ourselves - at least 2 manufacturers in theory.
I bought a motherboard asus m5A97 R2.0 percent 8320, oz good ram 4 gig, I don’t pay much attention to the Windows rating, but 5.9 per oz is not enough on the previous 4 gigs ddr3 was more than 7,
and by the way, the frequency is 1600 and 1333 is written in the bios

and by the way the frequency is 1600 and in the BIOS it is written 1333,
so take it and manually set the frequency in the BIOS to 1600 and you will be happy.
If I have 2GB, can I plug 4 more into the adjacent connector? And in general, how to select a RAM (by what criterion) if you want to add a new bar to the old one without removing it?

If I have 2GB, can I plug 4 more into the next slot?
Can. There are practically no problems with memory compatibility when operating at frequencies within the officially supported limits (roughly speaking, on the SPD profile settings).
If you're interested in memory overclocking, that's a whole different story.
Hello, I wanted to know why two RAMs are not loaded, but only one is loaded. Here is the name of the asus p7h55-m motherboard.
