Ping over LAN (Battlefield 2)

Hi all! Maybe it was discussed somewhere, but I did not find it. Why often high ping on LAN game? The one who creates everything is fine, but the one who joins has lags. Soldiers twitch when they walk, soldiers or vehicles shoot, and only then appear. You shoot at someone, you see the hits, the blood is a phantasm, but it doesn’t get killed, you only kill from the tenth time. Well, etc. etc.
Ping is mostly 300 - 700. Why is that? And how to fix it? I tried to change the network cards instead of the built-in one - it's useless. 2 computers are connected directly, without a router. Voice communication via Team Speak and other LAN games work fine - ping 10 - 15.
