Skyrim and Enderal on Different Platforms (The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim)

I'm planning to buy and install Skyrim through EpicGame now - will Enderal installed through Steam be compatible with Skyrim in this case, will it see the main game and work?

So Enderal does not need Skyrim installed to work, it is a standalone mod, you only need to have purchased Skyrim on your account so that you can download Enderal from Steam...
