Gamepad control issues (Asterigos: Curse of the Stars)

I started having problems with the gamepad controls. the left stick, along with the movement, simultaneously controls the vertical camera. the right stick works as it should. Interestingly, everything was fine before. Launched today and started. Tried different games and different gamepads. so the problem is in the game. what to do?
