Mysterious Red Phantom (Dark Souls)

Today I was invaded by a red phantom that threw off my quilag soul, demonic titanite and titanite shard. Is this normal? Or can they be banned for this?

Calm down, players can drop things in other worlds, thereby exchanging / giving gifts. The truth is, they rarely do that.
