Game won't start (The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion)
I click on the launcher, then on "play", a window opens in the corner for a couple of seconds and writes that they say the program is not working. I updated the firewood, ran it in compatibility, ran it as administrator, but nothing works. I changed everything in the launcher settings to a minimum, set the windowed mode, also does not want to. I downloaded it from other sites, because I thought that the repack might be fig, but I also don’t want to. you can try to run not from the launcher but directly from the exe. maybe it doesn't work on new OSes. on windows 7 it works. At first, the truth, too, for some reason, did not start.
you should also pay attention to the task manager if it tries to load Rundll32. if yes, then this is the problem of old games and the solution is somewhere on the Internet.
