Shadow of Kate (Gears of War 4)

I noticed an interesting thing in the 4th act of the chapter "In the Dark". On the dam at the entrance to the tunnel, if you turn around, you can see the silhouette of Kate, illuminating with a lantern from Lancer. I wonder why and why the developers added it?
