Goalkeeper. Play style. How to understand? (NHL 09)

Hello. The question is this. In this game, only two styles of play are available for goalkeepers: butterfly and stand-up, that is, the classic stand-up and butterfly.
The fact is that I have a modification installed, because of which, when some players enter the editor, the game simply crashes. I know how these styles of play differ in real life, but how can I determine what style this or that goalkeeper plays in the game without going into his editor? There are definitely some differences, maybe a subtle difference in the stance or a special reaction to certain actions of the player?
This information is sometimes extremely necessary when creating your own goalkeeper, because the effectiveness of goalkeepers, depending on the combination of their set of characteristics with the style of play, is very different)
