Running bug (FIFA 23)

I'm playing on PS4 against AI, legend difficulty.
I noticed a bug that the entire opposing team can easily run around for one player by holding R2, they just start to lose ground
. Has anyone encountered this?
All the interest of the game disappears from this, even in the previous parts I did not notice this
