Can't pass the quest! (Fable)

In the mission where you have to get on cruci shore and find Staroye Abbey. At the entrance to the Abbey imposed a barrier. Need to get back to the Guild to take the book and to relate it to the head guy. The book took all. Head again asks to borrow a book. There is nothing more I can do. Stupidly run.
