Empire or Republic? (Total War: Rome 2)

After victory in the civil war for Rome, with a fraction of the Senate loyalists, I was offered a choice, what will happen to Rome in the future - the Empire or the Republic.
That gives a choice in both cases?

Until I realized what preceded it, but it's not a common rebellion due to public discontent. A war appears at a certain stage of development of the Empire, or for some political reasons, and politics of Rome I don't quite understand.

Empire gives a cost reduction of troops and reducing corruption.
Republic.... it that way:)

and how you came to civil war?
So it is necessary to ensure that within your Empire you hate: get up high or lower to the minimum the support of the Senate or the influence of his home

Well I have here the balance of power :)
True support is about 40% of the other houses is
Play for the house of Julii

Similarly, the support of senators outside my house was about 80% at the beginning of the war.

Civil starts when you've conquered a lot of things. The menu, which shows different houses, support of senators, there is a strip that shows your strength. As I understand it, reading the description of each stage, civil starts when the bar is full filled.

I chose Empire for purely logical reasons: one ruler is much easier to manage such a huge state, than all the parliaments, etc.:)

However, if you have a good relationship with the other families that the civil war would later begin on the fourth level.
But it will any.
And none of your actions it will not be canceled.

when the support of the Senate is more than 80 percent then the civil war breaks out and everything!!!!

Not once in the civilian world was not involved. So, sooner or later the citizen experience? Just write that the rebels did not hesitate to use elite troops and if the fraction is not yet able to hire these troops and the rebels will be the usual fight or not?

I play for the Confederation of the Britons (Iceni at the beginning). Orange revolution -the civil war I have led to the fact that separated one city in Scotland and there are six full armies. Had to return to the army and the Navy from Greece, Italy and Dacia. In General, capture could I have just one city, the world did not want to go even for 420 000 in cash and the remaining fraction of my defensive Alliance into a war with them is not entered, so that for three or four moves I'm cut. Surprised that orange revolutionaries in the armies was not only the elite units, but also mercenary veteran hoplites and Cretan archers. I understand that the computer took the best of all my armies at the time of the uprising (well then elephants I didn't have).
Now the actual question, the civil war ended, and Emperor I was not announced.Missing buttons commanders (eg. To adopt, Promote, spread rumors). Thought that the question in number Empire, but now he's on high...and no Empire :( This is a bug, or it should be?

underdeveloped barbarians can't build anything worthwhile, for Jupiter deprived their brains. So, I understood the problem?

Generally the difference is not noticed in the beginning or then to fight! at first they are strong and then....

The problem is not sorted out. And Jupiter brains rather cheated the Romans, as barbarians, the British possessed the greatest Empire in the world, which is unique and I hope not to this day.

we were better when you were an Empire. And the German barbarians Anglo-Saxons if to clarify.
